Patna Metro Rail Approval Information

Here is the most exciting news for the people of Patna that we have got the Information that Government of Bihar has approved the DPR. Soon the Government at the State level as well as Central Level will release fund for the Mega Rail Metro Project. Now the DPR will be put before the State Government.

Urban Ministry has told that the cost of Patna Metro Rail including land acquisition will be around 19,500 Crore for sure. RITES who is responsible for DPR has created on the basis of Central Metro Rail Policy. NIT Patna is doing strong analysis of the DPR and Mobility system. Urban Development Minister Suresh Sharma told that after the Approval from the state nod the DPR will be put forward to the Central level. Hope work will commence soon in year 2018 -19.

In the Fresh Detailed project Report the Initiation of work will be on South-North Corridor of 14 KM which will cover the Patna Junction to Inter State Bus terminal via Gandhi Maidan and Rajendra Nagar.

After that work on second phase will start, West-east corridor will be between Mithapur Bus Stand to Danapur via Bailey Road and Patna Junction.
